Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid teaching credential with appropriate Special Education certification
• Previous experience teaching or supporting students with special needs
• Deep understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and implementation
• Ability to collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Strong classroom management and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for assigned students
• Provide direct instruction, modifications, and accommodations tailored to diverse learning needs
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and administrators to ensure cohesive support for each student
• Foster a positive and encouraging classroom climate where all students can thrive
• Regularly assess student progress and adjust strategies as needed
