Step into a dynamic educational setting near Orland Park, IL, as a dedicated professional supporting K-8 students with diverse learning needs. This full-time contract opportunity (40 hours per week) seeks an experienced Special Education Teacher who can effectively assume both instructional and case management responsibilities. As a case manager, you'll serve an average caseload of 95 students with IEPs and 504 plans, helping facilitate meaningful progress and compliance across all areas of special education.

Qualifications:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement (required)
- Experience working as a Special Education Teacher and/or Special Education Case Manager, preferably with K-8 students
- Thorough understanding of IEP and 504 plan processes and special education compliance protocols
- Strong organizational and time management skills to track and meet IDEA and school-mandated timelines
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and fellow educational staff
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of caseload management for assigned students with IEPs and 504s
- Ensure full compliance with IDEA requirements and timelines, maintaining up-to-date and accurate records
- Collaborate actively with school staff, families, and related service providers to develop, implement, and monitor individualized student plans
- Provide direct instruction and support tailored to students unique needs
- Facilitate annual reviews, reevaluations, and eligibility determinations as needed
