Special Education Teacher New Jersey | 20262027 School Year
We're hiring Special Education Teachers for full-time school-based opportunities in New Jersey for the 20262027 school year. If you're passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs, we'd love to connect!
Position Details:
- Full-time, onsite position
- September 3, 2026 June 23, 2027
- 32.5 hours per week (6.5-hour days)
- One school assignment
- Self-contained Special Education classrooms
Compensation Range - $35/hr - $55/hr ( Based on experience, qualifications and caseload)
Available Caseloads:
- Cognitive Impairments (CI): Grades 78
- Emotional Regulation Impairment (ERI): Grades 35 & 910
- Learning Disabilities (Cross-Categorical): Grades 78
- Moderately Cognitively Impaired (MCI): Grades 912
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD Levels 1, 2 & 3): Grades K12
Qualifications:
- Valid New Jersey TOH or TOSD endorsement
- Appropriate New Jersey teaching certification for the assigned grade level and/or subject area
- Previous Special Education experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
