Located in New Haven, CT, this special education teaching opportunity serves students in grades K-12 within a supportive school environment. The position is a contract role running from ASAP through May 22, 2026, offering 30 to 32.5 hours per week onsite.

We are seeking three skilled special education teachers to fill the following roles:

• Elementary Resource
• Elementary Self-Contained
• Middle School Resource

Responsibilities include delivering tailored instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs, developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), collaborating with general education staff, and participating actively in school teams focused on student progress and well-being.

Qualifications:

• Current Connecticut Special Education Teacher license required
• Experience working in special education settings across elementary or middle school levels preferred
• Strong understanding of special education laws and instructional strategies
• Ability to create inclusive and supportive learning environments
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
