Position Highlights:

• Immediate start, with a contract running through January
• School hours are 8:30 AM to 3:45 PM
• Self-contained classroom of six students
• Focus on individualized, student-centered learning plans

Qualifications:

• Active Special Education Teacher license for the appropriate grade level
• Previous experience with self-contained or similar special education classrooms preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for empowering students with varying learning challenges
• Ability to adapt lessons and strategies to meet diverse needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for assigned students
• Deliver differentiated instruction and academic support
• Collaborate with general education staff and related service providers
• Communicate regularly with families and guardians regarding student progress
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to all compliance requirements
• Foster a positive and safe classroom environment that encourages growth and independence
