This opportunity is for two full-time Special Education Teachers to support K-5th grade students in an elementary school setting near Elmwood Park, IL. The role involves managing 4 co-teaching sections and 1 instructional section, providing dedicated support to students with disabilities. This contract assignment runs throughout the current school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality instruction and support in both co-teaching and instructional settings.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to students' unique needs.
• Collaborate with school psychologists, social workers, and other educators to foster a supportive learning environment.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with parents and staff.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet a diverse range of learning styles and abilities.

Qualifications:

• Fully certified teacher holding a current Illinois Professional Educator License; LBS1 endorsement preferred.
• Minimum of three years successful experience teaching students with disabilities.
• Proven ability to design and execute effective IEPs.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to student-centered education.
