Key Qualifications:
- Valid New York State Special Education Certification
- Prior experience working with elementary-aged students in inclusive classrooms
- Strong commitment to individualized instruction and collaborative teaching
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
- Organizational skills to effectively manage case files, adapt lesson plans, and track student progress
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based instruction in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with general education teachers and related service staff to ensure an inclusive classroom experience
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in IEP meetings
- Partner with families to support student growth and promote learning at home
- Foster a nurturing classroom atmosphere that encourages participation, growth, and respect for all learners

Compensation for this position ranges from $23.00 to $43.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
