Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid teaching license or certification in Special Education
- Experience developing and implementing IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
- Knowledge of differentiated instruction techniques
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to adapt and modify curriculum to meet individual student needs
- Excellent collaboration skills with staff, administration, and families
- Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver tailored instruction to support students with diverse learning needs
- Assess student progress and update IEPs in partnership with IEP teams and families
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administration regarding student goals and progress
- Implement behavioral interventions and classroom accommodations as appropriate
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with program and legal guidelines
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school activities
