A K-12 school in Minneapolis, MN, is seeking a dedicated Elementary Science Teacher with Minnesota General Education Science endorsements to support their onsite learning environment. This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on elementary students education throughout the school year.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, standards-based science instruction to elementary students (K-5).
• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with state curricula and promote hands-on learning.
• Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs, including those of students requiring special education or English as a Second Language (ESL) support.
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families to support student success.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and other required documentation.
• Participate in professional development and school meetings as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota teaching license with General Education Science endorsement.
• Experience teaching elementary science preferred.
• Background in special education or ESL instruction is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
