Job Description

An elementary school in Minneapolis, MN, is seeking two onsite Special Education Teachers for the upcoming academic year. These contract positions provide an opportunity to make a lasting impact on students with special needs in a supportive school environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized instruction tailored to students' unique learning requirements
  • Develop and implement IEPs in accordance with state regulations
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support student success
  • Monitor and document student progress regularly
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment

Qualifications:

  • Valid Tier 3 or Tier 4 Special Education licensure
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students in special education settings
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt instructional strategies to diverse learners
  • Commitment to fostering student development both academically and socially

Location:

  • Minneapolis, MN
  • Elementary school setting
  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday

Contract Duration:

  • Start Date: September 2, 2025
  • End Date: June 5, 2026

This position offers the chance to contribute meaningfully to an elementary school community dedicated to meeting the needs of all learners. Candidates with the required licensure and passion for special education are encouraged to apply to support student growth throughout the school year.
