Job Description
An elementary school in Minneapolis, MN, is seeking two onsite Special Education Teachers for the upcoming academic year. These contract positions provide an opportunity to make a lasting impact on students with special needs in a supportive school environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction tailored to students' unique learning requirements
- Develop and implement IEPs in accordance with state regulations
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support student success
- Monitor and document student progress regularly
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
Qualifications:
- Valid Tier 3 or Tier 4 Special Education licensure
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in special education settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt instructional strategies to diverse learners
- Commitment to fostering student development both academically and socially
Location:
- Minneapolis, MN
- Elementary school setting
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
Contract Duration:
- Start Date: September 2, 2025
- End Date: June 5, 2026
