Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and families to ensure comprehensive student support.
  • Utilize SPED Forms for IEP documentation and management.
  • Create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment tailored to diverse learning abilities.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and relevant training.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Minnesota Special Education (SPED) license.
  • Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) licensing in another field is acceptable.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with students and families.
  • Experience or coursework in special education preferred, though flexible on experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
