Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with other educators and specialists.
• Provide direct services and support to students with special education needs.
• Assess and evaluate student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
• Collaborate with families, staff, and support services to ensure comprehensive student care.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and compliance with educational regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid South Dakota Special Education Teaching License.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet varying needs.
