An opportunity is available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support middle school students throughout the 2025-2026 school year on a full-time, contract basis. This role focuses on providing tailored educational services within a structured, supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to middle school students with diverse learning needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Adapt lesson plans to meet students unique needs and foster academic growth.
• Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with educational guidelines.
• Foster an inclusive, positive classroom climate that encourages student engagement.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Special Education teaching license valid in Colorado.
• Prior experience working with middle school students is preferred.
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and support staff.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Location: Midland, TX (middle school setting)
