Job Description

An opportunity is available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher with expertise in Braille and Production Materials to support K-12 students on a full-time, onsite basis in McMinnville, OR. This contract role spans the current school year (CSY) and involves working closely with students requiring specialized instructional materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, produce, and manage Braille and tactile instructional materials for students with visual impairments
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to ensure accessibility of curriculum
  • Provide direct instruction and support to K-12 students with special needs, adapting lessons as necessary
  • Maintain accurate records of materials produced and student progress
  • Stay current on best practices and technology related to Braille and production materials
