Located in Littleton, CO, this onsite Special Education Teacher position supports a K-12 school environment, offering a rewarding opportunity to work with students requiring mild to moderate special education services. The role entails up to 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM, focusing on small group instruction with caseloads typically involving 58 students. Some assignments may include providing occasional support in an Affective Needs program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students' individual education plans.
- Manage small groups of 58 students, addressing mild to moderate special education needs.
- Provide targeted support in Affective Needs programming as necessary.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and track student achievements.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado Department of Education Teacher License with Special Education endorsement.
- Previous experience working in special education settings preferred.

- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
