We're seeking compassionate educators to support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Emotional Impairments (EI) during the 20262027 school year. Position Details:
- Location: Lincoln Park, MI
- Full-time, school-based positions
- Start date: Fall 2026 (dates may vary by assignment)
- Multiple specialized classroom opportunities available
- Center-based and self-contained classroom settings
Compensation Range - $35/hr - $55/hr ( Based on experience, qualifications and caseload)
Available Opportunities:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Programs
- Middle and high school level support
- Transition-focused programming
- Short-term maternity leave coverage opportunities available
- Emotional Impairments (EI) Programs
- Elementary and upper elementary/middle school level support
- Full school year assignments available
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction for students with ASD and Emotional Impairments.
- Support students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
- Create a structured and supportive learning environment.
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Implement individualized student goals and interventions.
Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan Special Education Teaching Certification
- Appropriate Special Education endorsement:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (SV)
- Emotional Impairments (EI)
- Experience working with students with Autism and/or Emotional Impairments preferred
- Experience in center-based programs preferred
- Comfortable supporting students with a range of behaviors, including aggressive behaviors
