• Valid Special Education Teacher certification (Arizona credentials required)
• Prior experience teaching in special education settings, with a proven track record of engaging students with diverse abilities

• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with families, staff, and support personnel
• Flexibility and creativity in adapting teaching strategies to fit students strengths and needs
• Ability to maintain detailed documentation and comply with state educational regulations

Role responsibilities include:

• Providing direct instruction and academic support in accordance with students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Developing lesson plans that accommodate a variety of learning styles and abilities
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting strategies as necessary for continued growth
• Working closely with general education teachers and specialists to ensure seamless inclusion
• Communicating regularly with parents/guardians about progress and strategies
• Participating in IEP meetings, case conferences, and professional development
