A full-semester contract position is available for a Special Education Teacher at an elementary school in Lakeville, MN. This role offers the opportunity to support students with diverse learning needs and help create an inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota Teaching Credential with one or more of the following endorsements:
- Special Education: Autism Spectrum Disorders
- Special Education: Developmental Disabilities
- Special Education: Early Childhood
- Special Education: Emotional Behavioral Disorders
- Special Education: Learning Disabilities
- Academic & Behavioral Strategist License (optional; enables service to students with mild to moderate needs across multiple disability areas)
- Experience working with elementary-aged students
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
Position Details:
- Full-semester contract
- 37.5 hours per week, 5 days a week
- Elementary age group caseload, supporting a diverse range of special education needs
