A rewarding opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support elementary and middle school students in an onsite setting. This contract position offers 37.5 hours per week in a resource room environment, providing specialized instruction to a diverse caseload. The role requires a valid Minnesota Teaching License in Special Education and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the unique needs of students in elementary and middle school.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, families, and support staff.
• Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to ensure academic and social growth.
• Maintain detailed records and compliance with educational standards.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to provide resource support.

Qualifications:

• Valid MN Teaching License with a specialization in Special Education.
• Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a resource room caseload effectively.
• Dedication to creating supportive and adaptive learning experiences for all students.
