  • Masters degree in a related field
  • Valid Illinois LBS1 Teaching License
  • Experience teaching co-taught, instructional, and resource classes
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)

Location:

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement tailored lesson plans for students with special needs.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to facilitate inclusive learning environments.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
  • Maintain detailed records of student performance and IEP documentation.
  • Foster a supportive and engaging classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and needs.
