Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized instruction aligned with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Support academic, social, behavioral, and functional skill development
  • Develop and implement individualized learning strategies
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, administrators, and related service providers
  • Maintain compliance with special education documentation and reporting requirements
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Utilize evidence-based instructional and behavior management practices


Qualifications

  • Required
  • Active Kansas Special Education Teaching License
  • Appropriate Kansas licensure for the grade level being served
  • License must be active and available prior to candidate submission

Preferred

  • Experience working in Life Skills, Autism, or Behavioral Support programs
  • Strong collaboration and classroom management skills
  • Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs
