Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with emotional and behavioral disabilities.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers through co-teaching models and adapt curriculum to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to track student progress and inform instructional strategies.
  • Prepare and maintain progress reports to communicate students' development and needs to families and staff.
  • Create a supportive and structured classroom environment that fosters social and emotional growth.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Michigan Special Education endorsement.
  • Proven experience working with K-12 students in a special education setting.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
