Job Description

A Special Education teaching opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting in Joliet, IL, with a contract for the upcoming school year. This role focuses on providing tailored education to students across various grade levels within a specialized cooperative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs in Pre-K through grade 12 classrooms.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Illinois Licensed Behavior Specialist I (LBS I) or Professional Educator License with appropriate endorsements in Special Education.
  • Experience working with students in special education settings, ideally across multiple grade levels.
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Ability to tailor instructional methods for varied student needs.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
