This full-time Special Education Teacher position supports K-12 students within a contract role running from ASAP through the end of the current school year. Located onsite in Jackson, MI, this opportunity requires a Michigan state license in Special Education.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to diverse student needs
• Collaborating with classroom teachers, specialists, and families to promote student success
• Monitoring student progress and adapting instructional strategies as needed
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Participating in team meetings and professional development activities

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan Special Education Teacher license is mandatory
• Experience teaching students with diverse learning needs across K-12 grade levels
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and school staff
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
• Ability to manage a caseload effectively and maintain organized documentation
