Sunbelt Staffing isworking closely with a school near West St. Paul, Minnesotato hire a Special Education Teacher.This full-time role offers the opportunity to work closely with students who have unique learning needs, supported by a skilled team of paraprofessionals.

Requirements:

• Active Minnesota teaching license is mandatory.
• Preferred certification: ASD, DD, or DCD Special Education.
• Tier 1 or Out-of-Field Permissions will be considered.
• Experience in managing self-contained classrooms is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to each student.
• Provide direct instruction and interventions to address academic and behavioral goals.
• Supervise and coordinate with three paraprofessionals in the classroom.
• Create a safe and engaging classroom environment conducive to learning.
