Job Description

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available from March 2026 through June 2026, serving elementary students in Hyde Park, Vermont. This contract role is ideal for educators who specialize in supporting diverse learning needs and are open to travel assignments. The position requires managing a caseload of 13 students, providing both push-in and pull-out services designed to support individualized education plans (IEPs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality special education instruction tailored to individual student needs.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to implement effective push-in and pull-out interventions.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies to promote academic and social growth.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid Special Education or General Education teaching license.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably in a special education setting.

  • Ability to manage a caseload of 13 students and adapt instruction to varied learning styles.
