Job Description

Dynamic opportunity for a dedicated professional to support students with diverse learning needs in a vibrant educational environment. This role focuses on providing tailored guidance and instruction to facilitate the growth and development of approximately 46 students, including 30 with exceptional student education (ESE) needs and 16 gifted students, across middle and high school levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in compliance with state regulations.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure a supportive learning environment.
  • Provide direct services to students requiring specialized instruction.
  • Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Facilitate IEP meetings to engage with families and discuss student accomplishments and needs.
  • Create and maintain a structured schedule for pull-out and consult services as required.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Florida Exceptional Student Education (ESE) K-12 Certificate.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents.
  • Experience in developing and managing IEPs.
  • Ability to adapt instructional materials and strategies to meet varied student needs.
  • Prior experience in a K-12 setting, particularly with middle and high school students.
