An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support K-12 students in a high school setting in Hillsboro, OR. This contract position requires onsite presence, offering a chance to make a meaningful impact on students with diverse learning needs throughout the school year.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the unique needs of students with disabilities in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create inclusive learning environments
• Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with stakeholders
• Implement behavioral interventions and support social-emotional development within the classroom

Qualifications:

• Current Oregon Special Educator License
• Experience working with K-12 students in a special education setting, preferably in a high school environment
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based instructional strategies and legal requirements related to special education
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
