An educational professional is needed in Miami, FL, to manage and oversee all aspects related to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) at a K-12 school for the current school year. This role requires ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and fostering collaboration with Miami-Dade County Public Schools. The position includes substitute teaching responsibilities as needed, with a commitment of 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all IEP matters, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards
• Collaborate with district officials to align educational strategies
• Provide substitute teaching support when necessary
• Maintain comprehensive records and documentation related to special education services

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Special Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field; masters degree preferred
• Valid Florida Educator Certificate in Exceptional Student Education (ESE) or eligibility for certification
• Completion of the Department of Children & Family Child Care Training
• At least 3 years of experience supporting students with disabilities, preferably in a leadership or coordinator capacity
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required
