Now Hiring Special Education Teachers in Wilkes-Barre, PA
We are seeking experienced and motivated Special Education Teachers to support students in a school-based setting in the Harrisburg, PA area. This role focuses on providing direct instruction in an AS classroom to students with Autism.
What Youll Do
- Prepare and teach lesson plans to students in k-5 age groups
- Write IEP's and run IEP meetings
- Track and record student data and progress
- Support students with autism and developmental needs
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff
Qualifications
- Active PA SPED certification required
- Experience working with children or individuals with special needs
- Strong understanding of ASD and the IEP process
- Reliable, patient, and detail-oriented
- Ability to pass required clearances
