Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and valid South Carolina Special Education License (SC SPED LICENSE) required
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field
• Experience working with a K12 caseload is preferred
• Deep knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and goal setting
• Familiarity with state and district-specific regulations and compliance procedures
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff and families
• Adaptable, organized, and patient approach to working with students with diverse needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to students with disabilities, adapting lessons to meet individual needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Track and report on student progress toward academic, behavioral, and social goals
• Work closely with general education teachers, administrators, and related service providers
• Maintain accurate records and documentation to support student success
• Foster an inclusive, encouraging classroom environment
