Job Description

Located in Groveport, OH, this full- or part-time opportunity supports K-12 students as a Special Education Teacher specializing in intervention services. The position offers a contract through the current school year, approximately from ASAP to May 22, 2026. You will provide targeted support to students ranging in age from PreK through elementary, including working within a learning center that addresses moderate behavioral challenges in a self-contained setting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering specialized instruction and interventions to PreK and elementary students with diverse learning needs.
  • Managing a caseload consistent with intervention specialist duties.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Monitoring student progress and adapting strategies to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Maintaining compliance with state regulations and school policies.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist licensure.
  • Hold a PS-3 or PS-12 teaching license.
  • Experience working with PreK and elementary-aged students, preferably in settings addressing moderate behavioral challenges.
  • Strong knowledge of special education strategies and legal requirements.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with educators, families, and support staff.

Work hours typically align with school schedules: PreK sessions from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and elementary sessions from 9:15 a.m. to 3:40 p.m. Interviews will be conducted via Zoom to accommodate candidate availability.
