This K-12 Special Education teaching position offers a rewarding opportunity to support students with diverse needs in adaptive and inclusion classrooms. Located onsite in Gretna, VA, this role requires a dedicated professional to manage a full caseload while providing individualized and inclusive educational support throughout the contract school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction and support to students with multiple disabilities across adaptive and inclusion settings
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster an inclusive learning environment
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies to maximize educational outcomes
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all federal and state special education regulations

Qualifications:

• Valid Virginia Special Education Teacher certification, K-12
• Experience supporting students with complex learning needs in both adaptive and inclusive classroom settings
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, instructional strategies, and assessment procedures
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams and families

Hours and Location:

• Full-time, onsite position requiring 37.5 hours per week
• Situated in Gretna, VA serving a K-12 student population
