This contracted, onsite position features both resource and self-contained opportunities, with a flexible caseload serving students across the K-12 spectrumincluding inclusion and 1:1 roles. Qualifications:
- Valid South Carolina certification in Special Education required
- Experience working with students in K-12, including various instructional settings (resource, self-contained, inclusion, or 1:1)
- Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Responsibilities:
- Develop lesson plans that accommodate the unique needs of diverse learners
- Deliver engaging, individualized instruction both one-on-one and in group settings
- Work closely with general education teachers, families, and support staff to promote student success
- Support IEP development, documentation, and progress monitoring
- Adapt instructional materials and strategies to accommodate students learning styles and needs
