Special Education Teachers | Clovis, NM | K-12
We are seeking qualified Special Education Teachers to provide essential support in resource rooms for K-12 students. This full-time contract position offers a rewarding opportunity to assist diverse learners in a supportive educational environment.
Location: Clovis, New Mexico
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instructional support in resource room settings to K-12 students with disabilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that meets the unique needs of each student
Qualifications:
- New Mexico Special Education Certification (NM SPED Certification) required
- Experience working with K-12 students in special education settings preferred
- Strong understanding of individualized educational plans and special education laws
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Position Details:
- Contract duration: Complete School Year (CSY)
- Work schedule: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week
- Age group served: Kindergarten through 12th grade
- Setting: Resource rooms within K-12 schools
