Special Education Teacher Preschool | Glendale, AZ | Contract (ASAP to May 21, 2026)

An opportunity is available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher with a focus on preschool-aged students. This onsite contract position supports students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) while ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and district requirements. The role emphasizes direct instruction, case management, and collaboration within the school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct instruction and specialized services to preschool students based on IEPs
  • Provide case management for students receiving special education services
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations pertaining to IEPs
  • Develop and implement a continuum of special education services meeting diverse student needs
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records related to student progress and compliance
  • Consult and collaborate in the Response to Intervention (RtI) process
  • Maintain ongoing communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress
  • Implement behavior management strategies and behavior intervention plans
  • Partner with teaching staff to provide accommodations and modifications in the classroom
  • Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Current Arizona Special Education Teacher Certification
  • Valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ IVP FPCC) or ability to obtain and maintain
