Key Qualifications:

• Valid state certification in Special Education (or eligibility for certification)
• Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
• Experience working with students with a range of disabilities
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet unique student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized lesson plans tailored to each students IEP goals
• Create a supportive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes student engagement
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure students academic and behavioral success
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of student performance and progress
• Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and professional development activities
• Deliver instruction in both small group and one-on-one settings, adjusting as needed to facilitate understanding and growth
• Utilize assistive technology and a variety of teaching methods to enhance learning experiences
