Full-Time Special Education Teacher Job Opportunity in Illinois

Sunbelt Staffing is working closely with a school district near Fox Lake, Illinoisto locatea Full-Time Special Education Teacher.

Job Qualifications:

  • Eligibility for or possession of a IllinoisSpecial Education (SPED) Teaching License
  • Valid LBS1 certification required
  • Experience in both special education resource teaching and speech pathology is preferred

Classroom Details:

  • Resource Support: 10-15students in a middle school setting
  • Classroom Setting: Middle school environment with a focus on providing both resource support and speech therapy to students with varying needs.
  • Key Objective: To deliver tailored educational and speech/language interventions that foster student growth and achievement.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students requiring resource support, tailoring instruction to meet their unique learning needs.
  • Provide speech therapy services to students with communication disorders, targeting individual speech and language goals.
