Key Qualifications:

  • Valid New Hampshire Teaching License required
  • Experience in special education, particularly with emotional and behavioral disorders, strongly preferred
  • Confident with evaluations, IEP development, case management, and compliance documentation
  • Skilled at collaborating with families, school staff, and external providers
  • Able to foster an inclusive, supportive, and safe classroom community

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead a self-contained classroom for students with mental health and behavioral challenges (caseload of approximately 10-16 students)
  • Provide individualized and small group instruction aligned to each students IEP
  • Conduct ongoing assessments and evaluations to support student growth
  • Manage all aspects of case management, including reports and annual reviews
  • Attend multidisciplinary meetings, contribute to program planning, and maintain strong communication with staff and families
  • Support students emotional regulation and social development through targeted interventions

This position offers a consistent daytime scheduleMonday through Friday, school hours from 7:30 AM to 2:20 PMallowing for an ideal work-life balance over the 26/27 school year (September 1, 2026 June 16, 2027).
