A K-12 educational institution in Excelsior Springs, MO is seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, contract position offers 37.5 hours per week working primarily with junior high and high school students. The role requires a Missouri Special Education license and a commitment to supporting diverse learners.
Qualifications:
- Valid Missouri Special Education teaching license
- Experience in special education instruction for junior high and high school students
- Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and differentiated instructional strategies
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students unique educational needs in a K-12 setting
