What We're Looking For:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience working with K-2 students and knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Familiarity with life skills curriculum and hands-on instruction
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with support staff and families
• Flexible and adaptable mindset to respond to students unique needs
• Ability to create a supportive, structured, and engaging classroom atmosphere

What Youll Do:

• Deliver tailored instruction and support within a self-contained classroom
• Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
• Foster independence and functional skills through creative, practical lessons
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Communicate regularly with families about student achievements and challenges
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and safe school culture
