Special Education Teacher Travel Opportunity in Elgin, TX

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized education plans (IEPs) and classroom instruction aligned with Texas SPED standards
  • Support inclusion classes and resource interventions for elementary-aged students
  • Collaborate with paraeducators or other support staff provided by the district
  • Monitor student progress, maintain records, and communicate regularly with families and school staff
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive learning environment

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Texas Special Education Certification required
  • Experience working with elementary SPED students in inclusion and resource settings
  • Ability to manage a caseload of 30-40 students with diverse learning challenges
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams
  • Willingness to travel to the school location and adapt to a dynamic schedule (37.5 hours per week)

Location: This role is based in Elgin, Texas, specifically at Harvest Ridge Elementary. The assignment requires travel to the school and is scheduled to begin as soon as possible through May 2026.
