A full-time Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC) position is available for the upcoming school year in a K-12 educational setting located in Edison, NJ. This contract role is ideal for a dedicated licensed professional with a passion for supporting students with learning disabilities through expert assessment and intervention services.
Responsibilities include functioning as a vital member of the Child Study Team by conducting comprehensive educational assessments and providing specialized guidance for students with learning disabilities. You will develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), ensuring that educational strategies meet the unique needs of each student. Collaboration with teachers, parents, and administrators to design tailored learning plans and support services is essential.
