Job Description

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in a K-12 setting located in Eden Prairie, MN. This contract role offers 37.5 hours per week, providing an opportunity to make a meaningful impact within an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) classroom from September 2025 through the end of the school year.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction and support to students with ASD in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement effective teaching strategies tailored to students unique needs
  • Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with parents and staff
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state regulations and educational standards

Qualifications:

  • Valid Minnesota state license as a Special Education Teacher
  • Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in special education, preferably working with ASD students
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt instructional methods to meet diverse learning needs
  • Commitment to supporting student growth and development
