You'll be part of a collaborative team supporting students with moderate disabilities, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder, life skills needs, behavioral diagnoses, and learning disabilities. With a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week, your role promises both challenge and fulfillment as you help unlock every child's potential.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility for certification)
  • Experience working with K-12 students in special education settings
  • Familiarity with resource room support, push-in models, and life skills instruction
  • Comfort adapting material and instruction for diverse learning needs (ASD, LD, BD, life skills, and more)
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with colleagues and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction in resource classrooms and through push-in services alongside general educators
  • Contribute to and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Assess students needs and progress, adjusting approaches as necessary
  • Support students in developing academic, behavioral, and life skills
  • Foster an inclusive, positive learning environment that celebrates each students strengths and growth
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and staff collaboration
