This opportunity is for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to work with an elementary school caseload focusing on an Autism classroom. The position supports both verbal and non-verbal students, providing tailored instruction and individualized educational plans. This full-time, contract role requires a Texas Special Education teaching license and is based in Dimmitt, TX, for the current school year.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Special Education teaching license
• Experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably in Autism classrooms
• Familiarity with instructional strategies for both verbal and non-verbal students
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and school staff

Location:

• Elementary school setting in Dimmitt, TX

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with student needs
