Youll play a vital role in guiding middle and high school students in dedicated autism programs through the upcoming school year. What Youll Bring:
- Valid Michigan Special Education Teacher Certification
- Special Education Endorsement (SV), specifically in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Experience working with students with autism, including those demonstrating mild to severe behaviors and instances of aggression (preferred)
- Background in center-based programs a plus
- Completion of START Training is a bonus
- Full compliance with MCL 380.1531 & Administrative Rules Governing the Certification of MI Teachers
- Commitment to a full-time contract, with hours varying by assigned school
- Ability to start the 2024-2025 school year (September 8, 2024) through October 26, 2026
