A full-time Special Education Teacher is needed to provide specialized instruction and support to students with significant cognitive, developmental, and behavioral disabilities within a K-12 self-contained classroom setting. This secondary role is a contract position for the current school year and is based in Detroit, MI.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering individualized educational programs tailored to each students unique needs
- Implementing instructional strategies that support academic and behavioral development
- Collaborating with support staff and family members to ensure student progress
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation to comply with special education regulations
Qualifications for this opportunity:
- Active Michigan Special Education teaching license is required
- Authorization to work in the United States
