Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan Special Education Certification with endorsement.
• Strong understanding of IDEA and MARSE regulations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with special needs.
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).

Location: Detroit, MI

Responsibilities:

• Provide in-person support to K-12 students with mild to moderate special education needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) to ensure each student's requirements are met.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create a comprehensive learning environment.
• Assess and evaluate student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and IEP documentation.
