Job Description

Location: Dearborn, MI

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each students unique requirements.
  • Collaborate with other educators and staff to ensure a comprehensive approach to student support.
  • Administer assessments to evaluate students progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and program service plans.
  • Directly serve students, providing guidance and support in their learning journeys.
  • Engage with students, families, and staff to promote a positive and inclusive school culture.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education License in Michigan, with no substitute permits.
  • Strong understanding of immigrant cultures and experiences.
  • Bilingual in Arabic and/or Spanish preferred, though not required.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, particularly English Language learners.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
